Overview

I designed and built a scalable digital platform for Move Together Create Together, a Melbourne-based organisation empowering individuals through specialised programs, resources, and events focused on skills development, behaviour, coordination, and sports performance. The project combined UX and UI design with full frontend development using Next.js and a headless CMS implementation using Sanity, with ongoing post-launch management covering content updates, performance improvements, and SEO optimisation.

Problem Statement

The organisation needed a more structured and scalable digital platform to clearly communicate its purpose and help users easily access information and programs. The existing experience lacked consistency, flexibility, and the technical foundation needed for ongoing content growth.

Key challenges included:

  • Limited structure for presenting programs and initiatives
  • No scalable CMS for non-technical content updates
  • Inconsistent UI and fragmented user experience
  • Poor content discoverability and SEO performance
  • No ongoing platform management capability

Deliverables

  • UX structure and information architecture
  • Responsive and reusable UI components
  • End-to-end frontend development using Next.js
  • Headless CMS integration with Sanity
  • Content modelling and page templates
  • SEO structure and metadata optimisation
  • Performance and accessibility improvements
  • Post-launch site management and iteration
  • Ongoing content updates and platform support

Outcome

The final platform delivered a fast, scalable, and easy-to-manage website that improved both the user experience and internal content workflows.

Key outcomes:

  • Clearer and more structured presentation of programs, resources, and events
  • Improved performance and accessibility across devices
  • Flexible CMS enabling non-technical content management
  • Stronger SEO foundations and improved discoverability
  • Ongoing optimisation and platform stability post-launch
